CELEBRATING FAILURE

I just went in major Meet the Robinsons mode today.

"From failing you learn; from success, not so much."

Why? Well, ACET results came out. :)
I honestly wasn't too shocked about the results. A little stunned, but that was it. All day I kept thinking if I was going to blog about this. I decided in the end to do so because it didn't make sense to hide from the truth. I mean, I write about happy successful happenings, why shouldn't I write about the uh.. not so successful events? So yeah. My initial reactions this morning varied. They began with

truth-denying
"OH WOW, WEH SIGE REFRESH KO NGA TONG PAGE"

to

silent-hurting
"OUCH, I DIDN'T MAKE IT."

to

crazy panicking
"SHEEEET PANO PA UP?!?!?!??"

to
simply not caring
"oh well. Ayaw ni Lord."

All in 5 minutes.

I think what makes us come out with such negative reactions are the people around us. How they react just greatly affect us. Most show concern, some conceal their real feelings. I was probably the least bit concerned. Weird. I guess I just learned to detach myself completely surrendering myself and my future to destiny and the will of God. I've done my part studying my ass off and answering the test. That's all I could do really right. Instead of wallowing in sorrow I treated myself to great dinner and Timezone after rehearsals! :D

I felt awesome and happy! In the end, it really isn't about the school, it's more about the skill. I still am an OSY but I took tests in UP and Benilde so my future isn't entirely bleak. I have prepared to accept whatever comes out two weeks from now. I know I will have an awesome school ! :D If UP isn't for me, there's abroad and a lot more options! :)) I don't know if the contents of my next blog about college results would be good, but who cares? I'll continue writing.

So yeah, for now, I guess I'll just Keep moving forward. :)

    Yeah I know ! The reason I didn't go crazy is the
    fact that I couldn't really see Ateneo in my future. :)) Quits lang =))
    God has a plan for us all B-) YEH !

    Joelle!!! Naalala ko tuloy nung hindi ako nakapasok sa diliman. Parang, ah, ok. Hahaha. Lalo na nung magtratransfer pa dapat ako nung 2nd year tapos pagkatawag ko sa opisina ng UP, hindi rin. Twice rejected. Hahahaha. Naisip ko rin, oh well. Maganda pa rin naman tayo. Hahaha. Gudlak sa recital. Excited na 'ko! :)

    alam kong walang magagawa ang COMFORT ko. pero COMFORT na rin. o nga sana UP ka na lang. ako nga kinakabahan ng todo..di nakakatulog minsan kasi UP lang pinasukan ko. arggh. pag ako di nakpasa..ewan. haha. talent test. hehe. tsaka alam ko namang makakapasa ka sa up. and OF COURSE there's always BENILDE haha. joke. yay di ako nag-benilde. walang pansalo.

    UP is not the only school out there. Tama yan. Wag mo masyado dibdibin. If you would really want to go to UP, mag-aral ka na lang ng maigi. If you get high grades, then transfer to UP :) Ganun lang. Tama ka rin na wala sa school yun. Nasa taong may skillls ang lahat ng ito. Marami akong kilala na nasa magagandang schools but they are not grabbing the opportunity to study hard.

    GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS! Baka hindi lang talaga para sa iyo. :) May iba pa Siyang plano for you. Malay mo, it might be better :)
